Business Architecture

Cantium works in partnership with the public sector and its supply chain to understand your business drivers and budgets, and architect a solution and infrastructure to execute projects from your business architecture and transformation strategy. This enables your strategy to be executed seamlessly while you continue to manage your day-to-day business.

We have a lean and agile approach to infrastructure and software development and adopt the industry best practices for engineering and security through our ISO and ITIL accreditations.

The key to our success is engaging and collaborating with our clients early-on in the process, utilising Cantium’s industry experts to gather all of the details, and completing a thorough scoping exercise to ensure that the scope of the project fully meets your requirements.

Solutions Architecture

Cantium has fully managed projects across the public sector where the aim is to move to a centralised cloud hosted infrastructure. Our in-house experts have experience of working on projects of the same size and scale, in partnership with, or on behalf of teams across:

  • Pre-sales
  • Architecture
  • Project and Programme Management
  • Infrastructure and Systems Engineers
  • Backend Database Engineers
  • Middleware Specialists
  • Front-End Developers

We understand that your in-house resources and capacity is often shaped around your day to day requirements. Our highly-skilled architects can also support you to model your current state to target state design. Once the scope of work has been agreed and provisioned, we enable our customers to choose the skills and departments at Cantium that they need support from to further develop their transformation projects.

Cantium are a Microsoft Gold partner and an Azure solution centre. We have over 120 ITIL professionals and over 80 certified Microsoft engineers. We have extensive partnerships which offer a total end-end enterprise architecture service. From procurement of equipment and infrastructure, to architecture and planning and the resource to execute the project.

Enterprise Architecture as a Service (EAaaS)

We understand that the design, architecture, infrastructure, and execution of current state- intermediate state and target state infrastructure is a huge undertaking. This is why Cantium has developed Enterprise Architecture as a Service, which enables your organisation to utilise Cantium’s experts and partners to deliver the end-end transformation of your business processes.

Our experience of working with organisations across the public sector and its supply chain is that most of them do not have the right skills, resource or capacity to manage and deliver their transformation strategy alone. Therefore, Cantium work to understand the architecture drivers behind your requirements, whether they be business or design drivers. Then our experts consider your existing architecture state, and apply transitional processes, such as investment review, segment coordination, market research and asset management. Similarly, we apply security, data, technology and applications standards to help you get to your target architecture in line with your strategic direction, vision and principles.

Ultimately, Cantium’s Enterprise Architecture Services enable your organisation to execute your business transformation strategy seamlessly while still continuing to manage your day-to-day citizen-facing services.
