Mark is a Transformational leader, specialising in service excellence with over 20 years of operational and consulting experience. Working in the Local Government sector for over 12 years, he has developed an excellent understanding of local government challenges, culture, and opportunities. Collaborating with local government leaders to deliver insightful solutions that have helped meet austerity challenges through the innovation and optimisation of existing services and the development of commercial partnerships Within the private sector, Mark has held senior roles at Capita, PwC, Capgemini, EDF and Thales, growing their businesses and optimising services. This unique experience has enabled Mark to bring commercial success to local government, and he has an excellent ability to join the dots to develop innovative opportunities that enhance both the public and private sector delivery.
Clare started her career in the private sector, working for almost 15 years in the commercial and corporate banking sector. Many of those years were spent in a relationship management role, assessing lending propositions with particular emphasis on debt management, including implementing and monitoring work out agreements and lending risk assessments. Clare also has experience in contact centre management in a commercial banking environment. Latterly, Clare has been employed at Kent County Council (KCC) and Cantium for 16 years, working in various roles across different directorates.
James has experience of delivering architecture, design and outsourcing services across a wide range of sectors including public and private sector clients at C-Level for FTSE 100 firms. Throughout his career he has end to end experience of procuring and delivering enterprise ICT services from all sides of the equation, as a customer, as an advisory consultant and as a service provider delivering complex technology services and transformation.
James will be responsible for Cantium’s technology strategy, driving innovation through R&D and leveraging emerging technologies to bring the newest innovations to clients. Leading the CTO Services team, James will ensure that the technology we use is aligned to achieving business and growth plans by developing new products, optimising internal systems and working in partnership with client and operational teams to provide tailored solutions that deliver value for Cantium’s customers.
Nick is a driven professional with over 10 years’ experience delivering successful transformation within local and central government. Since joining as a graduate trainee in 2010, Nick has held several roles within Kent County Council (KCC) and Cantium. Nick is passionate about establishing Cantium as a thought leader and maximising value to our customers, and KCC as our shareholder. A creative, visual thinker, Nick brings his strong analytical skills to bear shape to strategy and drive performance and quality improvement. Nick is a trained ISO internal auditor and holds qualifications in leadership and management, and project management, as well as a first-class degree from the University of Oxford.
Peter is a progressive Senior Marketing Leader with a significant track record of Marketing at scale, having worked for FTSE 250 brands such as Visa International EMEA, Tesco, Carphone Warehouse and Currys PC World. In addition, Peter spent 10 years agency side, advising a diverse range of B2B brands on their Marketing and Communications Strategy. He is described as a motivational team builder that enjoys investing in emerging talent on how to leverage diverse marketing channels and transform customer experiences. Peter brings with him a deep commitment to Marketing Transformation, insight, Brand Development, Analytics and Business Growth.
As an experienced senior HR leader with a career spanning the education sector, local government, leisure industry and international road haulage, in addition to running her own business, Gill has a strong commercial focus with a substantial and proven track record of working at a strategic and operational level in HR and payroll. She acts as a key partner to a wide customer base, leading on the delivery of people strategies, change programmes and organisational matters for a diverse clients base. She is responsible for the longer-term direction of HR services, evaluating the impact of statutory and market changes, identifying opportunities, risks and development of services and building capability to respond to these.
Jamie has extensive financial experience, having worked in the private sector for 19 years, where he had responsibility for ensuring the operational efficiency, regulatory compliance and direct management of financial functions. With 12 years post qualified Chartered Accountant experience, Jamie has led finance teams that deliver commercial focus to improve processes, deliver efficiencies and meet business objectives through technical expertise and team leadership.
Mark has a wealth of experience in private and public sectors, including local government, health, education, manufacturing and retail. With a valuable combination of leadership, commercial and technology experience, he has a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and consistently surpassing targets. Mark excels as a dynamic leader and coach in creating the right environments and culture for partners, teams and individuals to succeed. Mark is responsible for building the growth strategy and pipeline with a key focus on identifying new sector propositions and driving the associated business capabilities forwards.
