What is Device as a Service?
Cantium Device as a Service (CDaaS) provides you with computing devices, ICT support, and device management for one monthly cost. As an alternative to purchasing devices on an individual basis, moving to a device leasing model provides you with increased flexibility, lower costs, and freedom from any device management responsibilities.
Cantium provides a Device as a Service offering that spans device provisioning services and cradle-to-grave device support. This solution is popular with organisations from the public sector and its supply chain because they can quickly scale up or down devices to quickly serve shifting needs. This model also provides quicker access to the latest technology without having to make a substantial investment.
The ordering of ICT devices and accessories is tailored throughout – tailored to your organisation, and tailored down to the individual user’s role and requirements. The devices can be delivered straight from the approved manufacturers (e.g. Microsoft, Lenovo, Apple, HP, Samsung) with an Out of the Box (OOB) operating system installation and asset label applied utilising Windows Autopilot and Microsoft Intune technologies.
Utilising a Device as a Service model also helps minimize your expenses by shifting your IT budget from a capital expenditure (CapEx) model to an operating expense (OpEx) model with predictable per-user, per-month pricing. Although, financing a full lifecycle of devices can be done on an Opex or Capex model, providing you with evergreen hardware, including options for device repair or replacement as part of the service offering.
