Whether you decide to use SIMS, or another schools management information system (MIS), such as Arbor or Bromcom, our accredited team are here to support your school with your chosen MIS.
With experience in supporting 550+ UK schools, our MIS experts are on hand to provide day-to-day support in managing your school’s MIS and FMS, with the added option of one-to-one consultancy on a wide range of topics.
We aim to ease the burden on your team, liaising with third party providers on your behalf and carrying out quality assurance and performance testing on your system. We can also support your team with a comprehensive programme of SIMS training, tailored to different users, such as your administrative, financial and managerial staff.
Arbor Support
Our Arbor Support team is full of MIS experts and has worked with schools and their chosen MIS system for over 40 years. Cantium is an accredited support partner for the Arbor Education MIS, and we can also provide expert training and advice on how to get the most from your Arbor MIS. The service includes service management through our ITIL accredited Service Desk, as well as incident and problem management.
Our dedicated Arbor Remote Support Team will support your school staff with the identification and correction of software and user errors across all active modules within Arbor, which we keep up to date as and when modules are added and removed from the MIS. Primarily, we provide remote support wherever possible. However, on-site support is provided where we cannot resolve the incident remotely and has a significant impact on the day to day running of your school. We will also liaise with Arbor on your behalf whenever a technical fix is required to rectify an issue.
We have gone through in-depth training to become an accredited Arbor Support Partner. We are certified to provide your staff with on-site or remote training on the Arbor system so that they can get the most from all modules. If you need further support with developing modules or your use of the system, our Arbor experts can spend some time with your staff on-site to provide advice and guidance.
Bromcom Support
Cantium’s MIS team is an accredited Bromcom Support partner, providing a Bromcom helpdesk to quickly resolve issues so that you can focus on teaching and learning. The Bromcom MIS is an alternative to other widely used Schools Management Information Systems. Therefore, Cantium has worked hard to achieve accreditation in becoming an accredited Bromcom support, training and consultancy provider.
Cantium specialises in assisting your school, academy or trust to set up your Bromcom Environment. This includes homepage dashboards, roles and permissions, system configuration and system defaults. Once your system is ready for use, our Bromcom helpdesk provides remote MIS support to over 500 schools, ensuring that your issues are resolved quickly, and helping you to continue working on the administration of your school.
